New Delhi: A film starring Jason Statham the sequel to the science fiction action film of the same name that was released in 2018, The Meg 2- The Trench, is now available. The Trench, a novel, written by Steve Alten in 1999, served as the inspiration for the sequel’s concepts. The events that take place in Meg 2 take place after the character discovers that the Megalodon has survived the events that took place in the previous narrative.
This year, on August 4, the film directed by Ben Wheatley was made available to the public, and it is currently scheduled to be streamed online.
18th: Meg 2: The Trench. Somehow this is the best of the bottom (no pun intended). I expected to hate-watch this, but if there’s a movie that understood the assignment, it’s Meg 2. Dumb, crazy, and melodramatic, I actually vastly prefer it to the first film. pic.twitter.com/sM8PpbACZI

Plot
The most recent instalment picks up where the first left off, following environmentalist Jonas Taylor as he continues to battle environmental crime and assist Mana One in digging deeper than Mariana Trench to uncover any unwelcome visitors that may cause problems for their new project. Plus, that’s where they locate Megalodons of much greater size.
In a dangerous mining operation that jeopardises their objective, a team of scientists must outswim and evade the enormous Megalodons if they want to survive.
