Mersal OTT release: Here’s where to watch Vijay’s action thriller film online ahead of its re-release

Mersal OTT Release: Vijay and S. J Suryah starred as the leading pair in Jawan fame director Atlee’s super hit movie Mersal, which graced the big screens on October 18th, 2017.

Based on Singeetam Srinivasa Rao’s 1998 Tamil drama Apoorva Sagodharargal, the action thriller garnered an extremely positive reception from the cinemagoers who lauded its engaging storyline and exceptional acting performances throughout its journey at the Box Office. As a result, Mersal emerged as a massive commercial success at the ticket windows during its initial run, whopping in a glorious Rs 200- 260 crores (approx) from the BO.

Now, after nearly 8 years since its premiere on the big screens, the Suryah starrer is all set to hit the theaters once again on March 28th, 2025. However, if you can’t wait ‘for that long, then you can also stream it online right now on multiple platforms.

Anyone who wishes to enjoy Mersal can do so right from his home’s comfort on JioHotstar, Amazon Prime Video, and Netflix. However, it must be kept in mind that a subscription to all these platforms will be required in order to stream the movie online on these platforms.
