Mission Majnu was released today on the mega OTT platform Netflix. The spy thriller gave fans what they wanted most- Siddharth Malhotra back in army action after his previous whooping hit Shershah.

Netizens are impressed yet again as they are hailing Mission Majnu as a ‘Masterpiece.’

Siddharth Malhotra plays Amandeep Singh, a RAW espionage who goes undercover in Pakistan to counter any developments of nuclear weapons. The movie is set in 1971 during the Indo-Pak war over Bangladesh. The movie revolves around his struggle to balance his personal life and mission, without blowing his cover.

Rashmika Mandanna is seen in the role of Nasreen, the virtually challenged wife of Amandeep Singh.

In Rashmika Mandanna’s own words ” a character who exhibits unconditional love and innocence.”

 

From Mission Majnu’s songs to its befitting dialogues to its cinematography, Twitter is falling no short of applauds for the spy drama.

 

One user praised Siddharth Malhotra’s acting, ” He has done a pretty good job once again.”
