Murder in Mahim is finally available for watching on a leading OTT Platform.

New Delhi:  Raj Acharya’s latest web show Murder in Mahim is finally available for watching on a leading OTT Platform.

Boasting Ashutosh Rana & Vijay Razz as lead characters, the murder-mystery series is now streaming on Jio Cinema where it landed today on 10 May 2024.

Murder In Mahim OTT Release Announcement 

Announcing the arrival of Murder In Mahim, Jio Cinema, on Friday, took to its official X handle & shared an intriguing poster of the film.

The digital giant also attached a caption to the post which read,” Sapno ke sheher Mumbai mein a killer is lurking in the shadows. Will Peter and Jende uncover the truth or get trapped in this mystery? Murder In Mahim now streaming, exclusively on JioCinema Premium.”

Now, with the Shivani Raghuvanshi starrer web series finally out on OTT, fans are excited to enjoy it from the comfort of their homes.

Plot

After the disfigured body of a gay sex worker is found lying lifeless in Mahim railway station’s public toilet, LGTBQ+ protests are stages across Mumbai. Soon after, another gay prostitute gets mysteriously killed & the same triggers a wave of terror in the city.

With the public mercilessly bashing the police department for failing to prevent the murders, senior police officer Shivajirao Jende and his lesbian assistant sub-inspector Firadus Rabbani (Shivani Raghuvanshi) are faced with the challenge of identifying the killer before he gets his hands on his next victim.

In their quest, Firadus and Shivajirao are also joined by an ace TV reporter Peter Fernandes who is hated by the latter for getting his father kicked out of the police force in the past. How the trio investigates the matter & nabb the serial murderer is what the web series is all about.

Cast and Production

In its cast, Murder in Mahim sees a number of actors including Vijay Raaz, Shivani Raghuvanshi, Ashutosh Rana, Shivaji Satam, Benafsha Soonwalla, and Rajesh Khatter playing important roles.

The eight-episode-long series is produced by Ajit Andhare under the banner of  A Tipping Point Series and Jigsaw Pictures Production.
