Naga Chaitanya speaks about his failed marriage with Samantha Ruth Prabhu

New Delhi: Actor Naga Chaitanya recently opened up about his failed marriage with actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The couple got separated on October 2, 2021, ending the marriage of four years. Both announced their separation on Instagram. The couple parted ways and focused on their career since then.

In an interview, Chaitanya talked about his failed marriage. When he was asked how he sees his relationship with Samantha, he said he has a huge respect for that phase of life. He further said whatever happened to his marriage was very unfortunate but he has a lot of respect for that phase. He also said he feels very sad about how the media portrayed his divorce and spread rumors leading to lose his whole respect in the eyes of the public, which hurt him a lot.

Chaitanya said he feels very hurt about how people are still holding to that topic and dragging it without any reason. Just for the shake of headlines they are linking his name with some third person who has nothing to do with this matter. He further added, what hurts him the most is without having any fault the third person is being dragged into this. Whatever happened, people should let it go.

Recently Chaitanya is all geared up for his upcoming film Custody, which is going to be released on 12 May 2023. It is a bilingual film in Tamil and Telugu. Chaitanya will be portraying the character of a police constable. He also visited some police constables in Hyderabad to share his experience of getting into the shoes of a constable. The film is directed by Venkat Prabhu. Chaitanya also shared his experience of playing the character of a police constable, he said it is a character that has not been explored much in recent times.
