“Nasha, Gangs and Guns should not be…”: Singer Daler Mehndi requests State, Central govt after Sidhu Moose Wala’s murder (VIDEO)

Sidhu Moose Wala’s murder: Here is what popular Punjabi singer Daler Mehndi said on the new culture that has been developed.

New Delhi: Singer Daler Mehndi on Monday expressed shock over the killing of Sidhu Moose Wala. Punjabi singer was shot dead on Sunday (May 29).

The incident took place a day after Punjab Police curtailed the security cover of 420 people, including him.

Also, the late singer had joined the Congress party in December 2021 ahead of the Assembly elections.

Daler Mehndi talked about the murder of Sidhu Moose wala

He further said that a culture has been developed in Punjab on how singer from the state singer weather he/ she knows anything or not but moves out with 5-10 bouncer with them, and with 2-3 vehicle travel along with them.

Daler Mehndi said that he was performing in Agra when he learned about the extremely saddening incident.

But, “I am shocked on how he had gone out alone without any security.”

“Such incident is extremely shocking and I have never heard about  Sidhu Moose Wala, nor did I listen to any of his songs.”

Abu Salem attacked my office

When asked about him receiving threats and extortion calls, he said that in 2000 Abu Salem had warned him and when his people shot bullets inside his office, it was then he believed that it was Abu Salem.

Daler Mehndi said he was provided security for over one year following the incident.

When  asked if he have ever heard about Goldy Brar and Lawrence Bishnoi gang members:

Singer said that he have never heard about it. He said his only purpose as a singer to entertain people and inspire and motivate them.

Daler Mehendi’s special request for the State and Central Govt:

Punjab Govt, Central govt must make sure that all the music’s and songs that are being made in all the different languages in India must be scanned on the types of languages, graphics, words and props being use.

The government must look into the matter as the kind of words that is being used in the videos such as drugs, gangs, guns, words against women-must be given warning.

He said such videos should not be allowed.
