Akshay Kumar opens about on North vs South film industry.

New Delhi: Bollywood’s Khiladi aka Akshay Kumar opened up on the ongoing debated over North vs South film industry and North hero’s vs South hero’s.

Akshay Kumar while speaking in an interview to Times now said that he doesn’t believe in the divide policy.

This comes a day after Akshay’s film ‘Samrat Prithviraj’ was released at theatres.

‘Samrat Prithviraj’ is based on the glorious and mighty Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan. The role is played by Akshay Kumar.

The film ‘Prithviraj’ has been directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi who is best known for directing the television epic Chanakya and the critically acclaimed film ‘Pinjar.’

When asked that why is it that people are liking South Indian movies more than Bollywood movies?

Akshay Kumar said that there is no ‘divide and rule’ policy and it is not good. He also said that there is no North Vs south industry. It’s the Indian film industry.

He said this is no fairy tale its only the ‘right-tale.’ Actor said that how his films were also dobbed in South Indian languages.

He said why shouldn’t someone remake a film when the story is good, why not work on it- ‘the industry is same.’

Is there any formula that South film industry is using and Bollywood is missing out?

He said the division between North and South is totally wrong. There is nobody who speaks on it.

I don’t believe in such structure.
