Plot
The film, directed by Claudio Fäh, follows a diverse cast of individuals whose lives are interrupted when their aircraft crashes into the Pacific Ocean. The oxygen supply is running low, and threats are coming from all directions, so a terrifying battle for life begins.
As the trailer starts, an aeroplane crashes, sending passengers into a state of terror as the crew members rush to get ready for take-off. Before an air hostess tells the passengers about the terrible scenario, it reveals that the passengers are enjoying their beverages on board the plane and are ignorant of what’s happening. The moment the air hostess gives the signal, a significant portion of the aircraft is ripped apart in mid-air, sending the passengers into a frenzy of fear and mayhem.
As the passengers are blasted out of their chairs, the trailer ramps up the intensity. In the Pacific Ocean, many of them are spotted sinking. Those who have managed to stay alive must now battle for their lives as the clock ticks down. They encounter terrifying sharks in the depths of the water as they float and perish.
When and Where to Watch?
Exclusive to the United Kingdom and the United States, the film depicts a dystopian future in which technology dominates society. Even though production on No Way Up wrapped in 2022, the OTT release was postponed by two years. On March 15, 2024, the film will finally be available to view exclusively on Lionsgate Play.
