New Delhi: Despite many good releases like Jailer and Gadar 2 which are soaring high in Box office collection, Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2 is consistently keeping up its pace with a decent box office collection. The movie once again proved its appeal to the audience this Sunday and proved its potential day by day. While Gadar 2 and Jailer earned Rs. 40 crore on their first day of release, OMG 2 manages to earn only 10.26 crore on its first day. Although many doubted the potential of Akshay Kumar’s comedy-drama against these massive films but the film maintained its momentum and gradually climbed toward the path of success.

On day 10, the movie minted an amount of Rs 12.06 crore according to the industry tracker leading to a growth of 20. 61% as compared to Saturday’s earnings. This has made its overall earning 114.31 crore and has achieved a global earning of Rs 142 crore. Meanwhile, the film is expected to earn a decent amount on Monday.
On Sunday Akshay Kumar’s Film minted an amount of Rs 58.05 as per Hindi occupancy. Directed by Amit Rai OMG 2 features Akshay Kuma, Yami Gautam, Pankaj Tripathi, and Pavan Malhotra in pivotal roles. Initially, the movie recorded a substantial occupancy of 32.59 crores during the morning shows. In the coming days, the movie recorded rise in its occupancy leading to 64.89 crore in afternoon and 76. 73 in the evening shows. On the other hand Rajinikanth’s Jailer and Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 minted 18.5 crore and 41 crore respectively on Sunday.The film is regarded as a high budget film and exceeded the budget of Rs 150 crore as per the reports.
