OMG 2 Day 3 BO collection: Akshay Kumar’s film sees jump, mints Rs 17.5 crore on Sunday

In the opening weekend, Akshay Kumar starrer OMG 2 earned roughly Rs. 43.06 crore total in India.

New Delhi: Oh My God 2 starring Akshay Kumar, Yami Gautam, and Pankaj Tripathi minted an amount of 17.5 crores on its third day of release. As per the film analyst Sachnilk, the film witnessed a 14.38 percent hike on Sunday in its box office collection after minting Rs. 15.30 crores on Saturday. On the opening day, the film earned a decent amount of Rs 10.26 crores.

In the opening weekend, Akshay Kumar starrer OMG 2 earned roughly Rs. 43.06 crore total in India. On Sunday, the film had an overall occupancy of 71.64 percent with the maximum number in the evening show which is 86.72 percent—the film witness the maximum number of audiences in Mumbai and Chennai respectively.
OMG 2 is helmed by Amit Rai and features Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi, and Yami Gautam in the vital role. Pankaj Tripathi is seen playing the role of Kanti Shaaran Mudgal, a devotee of Lord Shiva who sues the Education System for deceiving his child. Meanwhile, Akshay is playing the character messenger of Lord Shiva and Yami Gautam is portraying a Lawyer. OMG 2 is the sequel of the 2012 film OMG featuring Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal in the direction of filmmaker Umesh Shukla. OMG 2 also features Arun Govil, Fahim Sazil, Nawani, Parth Siddhpura and Amar Naik in the pivotal role.

OMG 2 is acclaimed as a A certificate film after weeks of speculation and various preemptive measures taken by CFBC , so that the film doesn’t get any backlash for its dialogues and scenes. Recently, the makers of OMG 2 dropped a video of Akshay Kumar visiting a theatreand interacting with the audience asking them do they like film and telling then this is the first adult film that is made for the teenagers. He further added he would love, if the film could be sceened in the schools and he is very happy that they all came to watch the film.
