1. Delhi Crime – Netflix

The show was nerve-breaking with the intelligence portrayed by Shefali Shah, who played the role of DCP Vartika Chaturvedi in leading the 2012 Delhi gang-rape case. The incident was a shock and shame to the entire mankind. The web series showed the aftermath of the horrifying incident including getting hold of the accused responsible for the woman’s death.

2. House of Secrets – Netflix

The incident revolved around the death of 11 members of a family in North Delhi’s Burari. The deaths were ruled by mass suicide, however, investigations revealed a sinister background to it.

The series shows alleged possession of supernatural by a family member which leads to the death of the whole family. The series has included real footage as well as sensational reactions that emerged during that time.

3. Mumbai Diaries 26/11 – Amazon Prime

The series based on the 2008 Mumbai attacks draws attention towards the medical frontline on the attack night. The story narrates the struggle of the doctors and staff handling the casualties after terrorists fired through different posts of the city including Taj Bengal, Gateway of India, and Leopard Café. The series features Konkona Sen Sharma, Mohit Raina among others.

4. Behind Closed Doors – HBO

A teen girl and domestic help at her house were found to be dead in her house at Noida, making her parents the prime suspects. Portraying the four important criminal cases, the series traces the work of Bengaluru police. What grabs attention to the series is the human element with some bare-boned facts.
