OTT Releases: Next 2 weeks of March lined up with new shows on Netflix, ZEE 5, Disney+Hotstar

The OTT platforms are bringing in some fresh content for this week and the upcoming week.

New Delhi: The month of March holds an important position in people’s hearts. Known for its pleasant weather, March is enjoyed by most people all across as this month is believed to start a new beginning. With leaves turning yellow and falling making the path for the new fresh leaves to appear, similarly, our entertainment world is satisfying our thirst with new content on the OTT platforms.

The OTT platforms are bringing in some fresh content for this week and the upcoming week. Some action, thrillers, romantic and comedy are making their way for their OTT releases. Let’s take a look at some of the most-awaited OTT releases coming our way:

1. Anamika – MX Player

This marks the second collaboration between Sunny Leone and MX Player and ALTBalaji. The action thriller series will see the actress playing the role of an undercover agent that has gone rogue. The series is directed by Vikram Bhatt and also features Sonnalli Seygall, Rahul Dev, Samir Soni, Shehzad Shaikh, and Ayaz Khan. The series is making premiere on March 10.

2. Maaran – Disney+Hotstar

This movie is a political action thriller that features Dhanush as an investigative journalist. The movie also shows a special brother-sister bond. The Telugu movie also stars Malavika Mohanan in the pivotal role. Directed by Karthick Naren, the movie is set to release on March 11.

3. Bloody Brothers – Zee 5

The crime series features Jaideep Ahlawat and Zeeshan Ayyub as two brothers are directed by Shaad Ali. The series is adapted from the British thriller Guilt. The series casts Tina Desai, Shruti Seth, Maya Alagh, Mugdha Veira Godse, Satish Kaushik, and Jitendra Joshi in pivotal roles. It will make OTT release on March 18.

4. Jalsa – Amazon Prime

Jalsa is a tale of conflict that is presented through the lives of a successful journalist and her cook. Directed by Suresh Triveni, the movie stars Vidya Balan and Shefali Shah in the lead roles. The movie also features Manav Kaul, Rohini Hattangadi, Iqbal Khan, Vidhatri Bandi, Shrikant Mohan Yadav, Shafeen Patel and Surya Kasibhatla.

5. Eternally confused and eager for love – Netflix

Zoya Akhtar and Farhan Akhtar collaboratively produced a coming-of-age show, where a 24-year old boy is seen navigating the complexities of love and relationships. This is the debut series for the director Rahul Nair. The series casts Vihaan Samat, Rahul Bose, Suchitra Pillai, Jim Sarbh, and Ankur Rathee.
