OTT releases on March 18: Check out new movies, shows releasing on Voot, Zee5, Amazon Prime, and more

Below are some of the much awaited contents releasing on March 18 on several OTT platforms such as VOOT, Amazon Prime, Zee5 and others.

New Delhi: OTT platforms have already filled our March with innumerable movies and shows within the first two weeks. This time the directors are presenting some solid out-of-the-box content. March 18 seems to be an important date to the directors as many contents of different genres will be streaming on these OTT platforms in different languages.

Below are some of the shows and movies streaming on OTT platforms such as Voot, Zee5, Amazon Prime, and more:

1. Apharan Season 2 – Voot

The thriller series narrates the story of a senior inspector named Rudra Srivastava begins his chase of an exclusive criminal where he finds himself in exotic locations and personal dilemmas. The inspector is on a mission to save his country which leads him to go to Thailand. However, his heart seemed to be at home where his wife is battling drug addiction. Directed by Sidharth Sengupta, the series stars Arunoday Singh, Mahie Gill, Monica Chaudhary, Nidhi Singh, Varun Badola, Saanand Verma, Neha Kaul, Pawan Chopra, Ram Sujan Singh, Surender Singh, amongst others.

2. Bloody Brothers – Zee5

Directed by Shaad Ali, the dark comedy web series is set to premiere on March 18. Reportedly, the series is inspired by the British TV series Guilt. Jaideep Ahlawat and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub play the roles of brothers. The story narrates the journey of two brothers who are poles apart but accidentally kill an old man on a darkened residential street. The series also stars Tina Desai, Shruti Seth, Mugdha Godse in pivotal roles.

3. Deep Water – Amazon

Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas-starrer Deep Water is a psychological thriller based on the 1957 novel of the same name by Patricia Highsmith. The movie narrates an unusual journey between the husband and wife. The wife (Ana de Armas) is allowed to take as many lovers as she wishes as long as she doesn’t leave her husband (Ben Affleck). However, things turn upside down as her lovers start dropping dead one after the other. The movie also stars Tracy Letts, Rachel Blanchard, Lil Rel Howery, Finn Wittrock, Jacob Elrodi, Dash Mihok, Kristen Connolly, Jade Fernandez, Michael Braun, and Michael Scialabba.

4. Jalsa – Amazon Prime 

The social thriller drama depicts a “tale of conflict” and deals with the class differences in society. The story revolved around a celebrated journalist and her cook. The movie stars Vidya Balan and Shefali Shah in lead roles. Directed by Suresh Triveni, the movie also stars Rohini Hattangadi, Iqbal Khan, Vidhatri Bandi, Srikant Mohan Yadav, Shafeen Patel, and Surya Kasibhatla.

5. Lalitham Sundaram – Disney+Hotstar

Madhu Warrier’s directorial is a comedy-drama starring Manju Warrier, Biju Menon, Deepti Sati, and others in pivotal roles. The family drama revolves around a beautiful story of a younger couple played by Anu Mohan, and Deepti Sati and an elder one essayed by Biju Menon and Manju Warrier.
