Pak actress Mahira Khan raises her voice for Palestine, says ‘History will remember…’

In her video, the actress recalled how she was rushed from her hotel room to an underground Bunker where she took shelter post the Hamas Offensive

New Delhi: The ongoing armed conflict and tensions between Israel and Gaza’s governing military organization Hamas have been concerning the global community for quite a while. What makes things even more worrisome is the slaughter of many innocent lives that is taking place in both the war-affected territories on a regular basis.

Reacting to the same, Pakistani actress Mahira Khan, who featured as Shah Rukh’s lead actress in Raees, shared a number of disturbing visuals from Palestinian cities that have turned into ruins after large-scale bombing by the Israeli Air Force. Her post is now going viral on the internet.

Taking to her Instagram, the Raees actress blasted everyone involved in the slaughter of innocent men, women, and children.

Her post read, “This is the genocide of Palestinian people. This is the killing of innocent human beings – men, women, and children (the majority of children). History will remember those who had the power to make a difference and didn’t, those who could bring an end to this and remained quiet.. they will always have blood on their hands. Praying every moment with a broken heart.”

Fortunate to be born in India

Besides Mahira, several other celebrities have also given their views Israel- Palestine ongoing conflict and openly condemned the ongoing massacre of common people. One of them is popular Indian actress Nushratt Bharuccha who was present in Israel on the gloomy night when Hamas bombarded the country with hundreds of rockets that claimed hundreds of innocent lives in a matter of minutes.

After safely making it to India, Nushratt took to her social media and shared the horrific ordeal with her fans and followers with a video.

She also thanked everyone who prayed for her safety and well-being and praised the Indian and Israeli governments for safely evacuating her from the war zone.

Nushrat further said that she feels fortunate to be born in a country like India where she feels safe She ended the video with a message of hope for world peace.
