Parasyte: The Grey OTT Release Date: Everything about the horror mystery sci-fi Korean drama starring Koo Kyo Hwan

Parasyte: The Grey OTT Release Date: Beginning on April 5, 2024, the 6-episode series will be made available on the streaming giant Netflix.

New Delhi: A forthcoming Korean version of the well-known Japanese manga from the 1980s is set for the title – Parasyte: The Grey. The manga series, which was created by Hitoshi Iwaaki, was turned into three different projects: two live-action Japanese films, and an anime television series.

Parasyte: The Grey, the newest Korean horror mystery series that will be available on Netflix, is going to provide a unique interpretation of the well-known Parasyte manga, which will distinguish it as a potentially intriguing live-action adaptation.

Storyline

The narrative takes place in present-day South Korea and tells the tale of alien parasites that land on Earth and start killing humans to seize control of their brains and bodies. The protagonist, Jung Soo In, has a parasite on her hand and begins an unusual cohabitation when it fails to eat her brain. Without losing her own identity or her sight, Soo In must figure out how to live in harmony with her extraterrestrial counterpart.

After losing her husband to parasite water, Choi Joon Kyung dedicates her life to eliminating parasitic water. Seol Kang Woo, on the other hand, is on a mission to locate his sister, who has gone missing.

Release Date and Platform

Beginning on April 5, 2024, the 6-episode series will be made available on the streaming giant Netflix.

Cast

Lee Jung Hyun plays Choi Joon Kyung, D.P. fame Koo Kyo Hwan stars as Seol Kang Woo, and Our Blooming Youth’s Jeon So Nee plays Jung Soo In. Kwon Hae Hyo and Kim In Kwon are among the other members of the supporting cast.

The Bequeathed and Train to Busan renowned filmmaker – Yeon Sang Ho – is the director of Parasyte: The Grey. Peninsula and Hellbound are only two of Sang Ho’s many critically acclaimed films that showcase his adept directing. Writing the script is Ryu Yong Jae. Climax Studio and Wow Point are the production companies behind the series.
