New Delhi: Pathaan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, has been making waves at the box office both domestically and internationally. The YRF spy thriller, which also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, has made a sizable impact at the box office and, with its opening weekend take abroad, has already surpassed the Rs 500 crore barrier.
Pathaan made about Rs 55 crore on Wednesday, Rs 68 crore on Thursday, Rs 38 crore on Friday, Rs 51.50 crore on Saturday, and about Rs 65 crore on Sunday at the box office in India (final figures awaited).
The Siddharth Anand-directed movie even cracked the top five earnings list at the North American box office, which is a significant accomplishment for a movie that has only had five days of theatrical release. Pathaan has made over Rs 280 crore domestically in just 5 days. It also beat off previous top earners like KGF: Chapter 2 and Baahubali: The Conclusion to become the quickest Hindi film to reach the Rs 200 crore club.
