New Delhi: Johnny Depp, his lawyer, and millions of his fans are having victory cheers with the actor winning the defamation trial against his wife Amber Heard. The case has ended recently and several instances have hit the headlines in the past few days. The six-week-long trial was held in Fairfax, Virginia, where Depp won a $50 million case.
Now with Amber Heard losing and putting false accusing against the actors netizens are having a gala time making memes out of the context. In a bizarre turn of events, a Saudi man offered to marry the actress after she lost at the trial. He had sent a voice message on her official Instagram account, calling himself better than “old man” Johnny Depp. He said that Amber should marry him as she has nothing left now.

Johnny Depp sued Amber Heard for defamation regarding an op-ed, which was published in 2018 by Washington Post. The actress called herself a domestic abuse survivor. Though she didn’t name Depp, his legal team has called for a $50 million compensation payment.
Now with Depp winning the case, a Saudi man has offered to marry Heard. In a voice note posted on the official account of the actress’ Instagram, the Saudi man wishes to fulfill her life with joy and happiness, reported Gulf News.
“Amber since all doors are closing on you, you have no one except me to take care of you. I’ve noticed that some people hate and bully you, therefore, I decided to marry you. May Allah bless us both. You are a blessing, but people don’t appreciate that. I am better than that old man,” he says in the voice note. The voice note has now gone viral on social media.

Depp and Heard first met on the sets of the Rum Diary in 2009 and started dating after some years. In 2015, the couple got married. During that time, Depp was in a relationship with French actress Vanessa Paradis while Amber Heard was dating photographer Tasya Van Ree. After their split from their respective partners, the duo started secretly dating in 2011. In 2014, they both got engaged secretively. However, the news came to the public’s eyes when a picture of the actress wearing an ornate engagement ring emerged. They finally got married in 2015, in a private ceremony on Depp’s private island in the Bahamas.
However, in 2016, Heard filed a divorce and alleged that Depp physically abused her during their marriage under the influence of drugs and alcohol. Depp denied the accusation and stated that Heard was “attempting to secure a premature financial resolution by alleging abuse.” Their divorce got finalised in 2017.
Next Depp sued Heard for defamation because of an op-ed she wrote in the Washington Post in 2018. In the op-ed, headlined, “I spoke up against sexual violence — and faced our culture’s wrath. That has to change,” Heard stated that she was a domestic violence survivor although she didn’t take Depp’s name.
