Pravinkoodu Shappu OTT Release: Renowned stars Basil Joseph and Soubin Shahir recently joined forces to present their fans with a power-packed thriller flick titled Pravinkoodu Shappu.
Written and helmed by veteran filmmaker Sreeraj Sreenivasan, the Malayalam movie hit the big screens on January 16th, 202,5, and received an average reception from the cinemagoers. While many praised black comedy for its dark humor, gripping story, and impressive acting performances, others pointed out how its second half ruined the whole momentum of the film.
Ultimately, Pravinkoodu Shappu concluded its journey at the Box Office with a modest collection of Rs 18 crores, and now, fans are eagerly waiting for it to land on the OTT.
When and where to watch Pravinkoodu Shappu online on OTT?
Fans who missed the chance to enjoy Pravinkoodu Shappu on the big screens will soon get to watch the film right from the comfort of their homes on SonyLiv, which is the official digital partner of the Malayalam entertainer. From April 11th, 2025, the film start streaming online on the OTT gaint and will be accessible with a basic subscription to its services.
An official confirmation about the same has been already made by Sonyliv India with a social media post shared on March 14th, 2025. The caption attached to the post read, “Get ready to step into a mystery that will pull you in, mess with your head, and refuse to let go. #PravinkooduShappu streaming from April 11 on Sony LIV.”

Cast and Production
A number of skilled actors including Chandini Sreedharan, Niyas Aboobecker, Chemban Vinod Jose, Soubin Shahir, Revathi, Shabareesh Varma, Basil Joseph, and Shivajith have essayed key roles in Pravinkoodu Shappu. Anwar Rasheed has backed the film under the banner of his production house Anwar Rasheed Entertainment.
