New Delhi: Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Lindsay Calhoon Bring developed the American horror mystery teen series Pretty Little Liars. Following in the same canon as its predecessor, the Pretty Little Liars series is based on Sara Shepard’s novels.
With Aguirre-Sacasa as the showrunner, Warner Bros. first confirmed the series’ development in September 2020. Towards the month’s conclusion, HBO Max ordered it straight to series.
Original Sin debuted on July 28, 2022, as the first season, while the second season, named Summer School, was greenlit in September 2022, and will debut on May 9, 2024.

Plot
Following the sequence of Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, the protagonists must now face the much more dreadful prospect of summer school. Millwood High doesn’t entirely block their path to thrilling summer jobs and potential love interests. A new enemy has shown up in town and plans to test them all; the details of their relationship to A are sketchy at best.
Set in a new Pennsylvania town, distant from Rosewood, and with a far darker and more foreboding look, the first season serves as a great continuation of the Freeform series. It seems to be adopting a more realistic approach, albeit there is certainly more violence in this current season compared to its predecessor. It was revealed in the first season that twenty years ago, Millwood was almost torn apart by a series of terrible events. Most recently, a group of Little Liars had become the targets of an unidentified attacker.
When and Where to Watch?
Two episodes of Pretty Little Liars: Summer School will premiere on Max on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at 3:00 a.m. ET / 12:00 a.m. PT. From May 9 through June 20, 2024, one new episode will air weekly.

After the Liars exposed Archie as villain A in Season 1, new snaps indicate that a new villain will be introduced in Season 2. Reportedly connected to A, this opponent provides a welcome change of pace.
