New Delhi: Years after gracing the big screens, the Telugu dubbed version of Sundeep Kishan’s 2017 release Maayavan titled ‘Project Z’ is finally coming to entertain the fans on OTT Platform.
Aha Video has officially confirmed that the C.V Kumar directorial movie will arrive on the platform soon, triggering a wave of excitement amongst the fans.

However, the streaming platform has not yet disclosed the exact release date of the sci-fi flicker.
About Project Z
Starring Bollywood veteran Jackie Shroff as the lead antagonist, Maayavan hit the theaters in December 2017 amid massive expectations. Simultaneously, the crime-drama’s Telugu dubbed version titled Project Z also made it to the cinemas to enthrill the cinemagoers across Telugu-speaking states.
However, despite having a decent pre-release buzz, the movie received a lukewarm reception from the fans & ended its theatrical run with disappointing BO collections.
Its Tamil version is currently available for streaming on Disney +Hotstar while the release of Telugu dubbed is awaited on Aha Video.
Project Z Plot
Maayavan, written and directed by C. V. Kumar, is an engaging Tamil science-fiction crime thriller movie. It circles the life of a police officer Kumaran (Sundeep Kishan) who almost loses his mind after witnessing a man (Dheena) brutally attacking his wife. Despite trying his best, Kumaran fails to save the woman’s life but remains successful in eliminating the killer.
Later, as he returns to his duties despite getting suggestions for taking a break to heal himself from the traumatic experience, one more woman Vimsha (Akshara Gowda), an actress, gets mercilessly killed in front of his eyes in a similar manner with her makeup-man Gopi (Mime Gopi) being the prime suspect.
Believing Gopi to be involved with the previous murderer (Dheena) whom he saw killing his wife, Kumaran sets on a mission to arrest him but soon realizes that the former has committed suicide and things are way more complicated than they seem. What happens next & how the officer catches the actual mysterious murder is what Project Z is all about.
