Punjabi film Actor, Director and Producer Mangal Dhillon dies of Cancer

Mangal Singh showed his talent for acting on Television with some popular shows like Katha Sagar, Buniyaad, Joonoon, Maulana Azad, Yug, and Noor.

New Delhi: Actor Mangal Dhillon, the shining star of the Punjab film industry has passed away. The actor, director, and producer was battling cancer and was in a critical condition. The actor was hospitalized in Ludhiana and took his last breath there. The news of his demise was shared by actor Yashpal Sharma leaving the industry and his fans in shock. Taking to his Facebook handle, Yashpal informed about the loss.

Dhillon hailed from the district of Faridkot, Punjab, and made a significant contribution to the world of Cinema and Television. His versatility was not only limited to acting but also proved himself as a talented director and producer. After completing his education up to the 4th standard in his hometown, he moved to Uttar Pradesh with his father. After completing his schooling there, he returned to Punjab and completed his graduation from the prestigious college of Muktsar. Dhillon has also worked in theater in Delhi.

He also acted in the films like Khoon Bhari Maang, Dayawan, Bharashtachar, Vishwatma, Sahiban, Akeela, Dil Tera Aashiq, and Tufan Singh.

His demise was a huge loss for the Punjab entertainment industry, as his contribution to the film and television industry will be deeply missed. He was considered a multitalented artist by his fans as he left an incredible mark on the world of cinema
