New Delhi: Pakistan’s renowned actress Mahira Khan, who recently tied the knot with her long-time lover Salim Karim in a dreamy affair, is once again going viral on the internet.
This time, the actress is making headlines over a viral picture in which she is seen standing next to Malayali filmmaker Prithviraj Sukumaran and actor Mohanlal, triggering curiosity among the fans.
Mahira Khan to feature in L2: Empuraan?
Besides the actress’ picture, several reports claiming that she has signed an upcoming Malayalam film L2: Empuraan are also doing rounds on the internet.
As per the reports, Mahira is all set to make her debut in the Malayalam movie industry by featuring as the lead actress of Mohanlal in Murli Gopy’s upcoming flick.
However, it is important to note here that neither Mahira nor L2: Empuraan’s team has confirmed the reports of their union as of now.

In the picture, the actress is seen flaunting her bright red gown while standing next to Prithviraj who looks sober in his grey t-shirt and casual beige shorts.
About L2: Empuraan
L2: Empuraan is an upcoming action-crime-thriller helmed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and written by Murali Gopy.It marks the second installment of the triology’s 1st movie Lucifer which made it to the big screens back in 2019.
Jointly produced by Ashirwad Cinemas and Lyca Productions, the film features ace actors including Mohanlal, Prithviraj Sukumaran Manju Warrier, and Fazil in important roles.
Its first look was released by Prithviraj earlier this month who shared its intriguing poster on his Instagram with a captain that read, “3rd directorial. 2nd part of the franchise. 1st look.”

Speaking of Mahira, the gorgeous actress made her Bollywood debut back in 2017 alongside Shah Rukh Khan in Rahul Dholakiya’s actioner Raees.
Although her praiseworthy work in the movie earned the actress a massive fanbase in India, she was unable to be a part of any other Bollywood film as 2016’s infamous URI terror attack got all Pakistani artists banned from working in India.
