Jailer Vs Jawan

Jailer: The box office success of Jailer, starring Rajinikanth, reached Rs 600 crore. The film opened on August 10 and has already made Rs 625.95 crore. A total of Rs 235.85 crore was made in its first week, followed by Rs 62.95 crore in week two and Rs 29.43 crore in week three for the crime thriller. On its fourth Friday, the film is expected to have generated Rs 1.60 crore, bringing its global total to Rs 329.83 crore. After 2.0, Jailer became the second-fastest Tamil film to ever gross such a huge collection at the box office.

Jawan: Meanwhile, starring Bollywood heartthrob SRK, Jawan has sold over 7.5 million ticket sales in India alone. Industry experts predict Rs 65-70 crore for Jawan’s opening day in India and an additional $5 million from international markets. In the Bollywood market, Jawan is quickly approaching the record set by his last film, Pathaan. On August 31, Jawan was projected onto the Burj Khalifa in Dubai and shown in Times Square. The hype around the movie has reached new heights.
