Rapper Raftaar and wife Komal Vohra part ways after 6 years of marriage, file for divorce

New Delhi: Popular Bollywood singer and rapper Dilin Nair aka Raftaar and his wife Komal Vohra have decided to end their marriage. The couple who have been married for 6 years now has reportedly filed for a divorce in 2020, and are already living separately.

As per a report by English daily Hindustan Times, the proceedings of divorce were delayed due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic. Though, the duo are will now be signing the divorce papers in October this year.

A source close to HT told, “Everything was delayed due to the pandemic. They will sign the divorce papers on October 6. The couple’s problems began only a few days after their marriage”.

Raftaar and Komal have been living separately for the last two years, and their close friends in the industry are said to be aware of the same. Komal has confirmed the separation, however, there has been no statement from Raftaar on the matter yet.

Both have moved on in their respective lives and the couple, along with their families, remain cordial”, the source added.

Raftaar had met Komal, who happens to be an interior designer by profession, through a common friend. The duo started as friends and dated each other for over 5 years later, before finally tying the knot in 2016.

Back then, sharing a pic from their wedding ceremony, Raftaar had wrote on social media, “MARRIED TO MY SOUL MATE”, along with a red heart emoji.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Raftaar has given several hit track in the past including rap song ‘All Black’ and Haseeno ka Deewana from the movie Kaabil. He recently sang the title track of recently released film Janhit Mein Jaari starring Nushratt Bharucha in the lead.
