Rocket Driver OTT Release Date: Sriram Ananthashankar’s Tamil fantasy flick Rocket Driver is now available to watch online. Marking the acting debut of Vishvath, the movie, which also features Sunaina and Naga Vishal in pivotal roles, has been rolled out by its makers on Amazon Prime Video where fans can enjoy it right from the comfort of their homes. However, one must note that a subscription to the streamer’s services will be required in order to access this movie on the OTT platform.
Rocket Driver at the Box Office
Penned by Sriram Ananthashankar, Akshay Poolla, and Prasanth S, Rocket Driver arrived on the big screens on October 18th, 2024 & received mixed reactions from the critics. Unfortunately, the movie failed to click with the cinegoers and concluded its theatrical run as a major flop. Now, it will be interesting to see how it fares with the OTTians in the coming days.
Plot of the Film
Rocket Driver tells the tale of an Auto Rikshaw driver named Prabhartakan who is not quite happy with his life. One day, his destiny takes a major turn and he is shocked to see a young APJ Abdul Kalam.
In no time, Prabhartakan realizes that he has traveled 76 years in the past & landed in the year 1948. What happens next and how Kalam joins forces with the guy to embark on a great adventure is the remaining story of the film.
Cast and Production
Besides the talented trio of Vishvath, Sunaina, and Naga Vishal, Rocket Driver, in its star cast, also features Kathadi Ramamurthy, Jagan, and Ramachandran Durairaj essaying key roles. It is Anirudh Vallabh under the banner of Stories By The Shore.
