Loaded with the star power of ace actors Vijay Anthony & Mirnalini, Romeo will start streaming on Aha (Tamil) in the coming month, allowing viewers to watch it from the comfort of their homes.
While the exact date of the comedy-drama is yet to be unveiled by the makers, reports suggest that the film might hit the digital screens on or around May 3rd, 2024.
However, as the Yogi Babu starrer will premiere on Aha only in Tamil language for now, fans will have to wait a bit longer to access the flick’s Telugu dubbed version ‘Love Guru’ on the streaming platform
Meanwhile, it is also crucial to note here that digital giant Amazon Prime Video also owns Romeo’s digital rights and can very well make it available for its subscribers in the coming days.
What Romeo is About?
After spending years working hard to ensure the financial well-being of his family, 35-year-old lonely Arivazhagan (Vijay Antony) finally heads home from Malaysia only to find his parents ready to make him marry a young unwilling girl Leela (Mirnalini Ravi).
Leela, despite being a strong-headed passionate woman who is determined to chase her dreams of becoming a famous actress, agrees to tie the knot with Arivazhagan due to family pressure & the two eventually end up as husband and wife.
From there, we see a hot & cold twisted tale unfold between the two as Leela always maintains distance from her 10-year elder hubby who, in her eyes, has completely shattred her hopes of becoming a heroine someday.
On the other hand, a shy & hesitant Arivazhagan tries his best to win the trust of his wife and make her open up with him over time.
