Running Point Season 1 OTT Release: Running Point is an upcoming Netflix sports comedy series set to premiere on February 27, 2025.

Plot
Running Point follows Isla Gordon, a sharp and ambitious Los Angeles executive whose life takes an unexpected turn when she is suddenly thrust into the world of professional basketball.
After a major scandal forces her brother Sandy Gordon to step down as president of the Los Angeles Waves, a struggling yet historically significant NBA franchise. His successor is surprisingly Isla herself.
However, she has zero experience in professional sports. Her background in corporate America is impressive. Yet it doesn’t immediately translate to the fast-paced, high-stakes world of an NBA front office. The players, fans and even the media greet her with skepticism.
Even her own family doubts her ability to lead a sports organization. Determined to prove everyone wrong, Isla throws herself into the role, of balancing team management, league politics, and personal relationships. She does all this while trying to modernize the franchise. Aiming to bring it to its former glory.
The Waves are in bad shape, both on and off the court. Isla must figure out how to improve the roster. She has to manage egos and deal with the unpredictable nature of professional sports.
Her brother’s scandal casts a long shadow, making her job even harder. Meanwhile, she tests her relationship with her siblings, Sandy and Ness Gordon.
