Shah Rukh Khan’s “Jawan” crosses ₹937 crore mark worldwide

In India, “Jawan” continues to perform exceptionally well. On its 15th day in theaters, the film garnered ₹8.1 crore nett across all languages, as reported by Sacnilk.com. The film’s week 1 collection stood at ₹389.88 crore, with an additional ₹136.1 crore earned in week 2.

New Delhi: Shah Rukh Khan’s latest blockbuster, “Jawan,” continues to break records at the global box office. Gauri Khan, the film’s producer under Red Chillies Entertainment, recently shared the astounding worldwide box office collection figures for “Jawan” on her Instagram Stories. According to the poster she shared, the film has grossed a staggering ₹937.61 crore worldwide.

Red Chillies Entertainment also celebrated this monumental achievement on their Instagram page, proclaiming, “It’s a blast at the box office! And you don’t want to miss it…”

“Jawan” Box Office Collection Milestones

“Jawan” has been on an extraordinary box office journey, entering the ₹900 crore club worldwide after just 13 days in theaters. As reported earlier this week, the film had already grossed ₹907.54 crore globally by Wednesday. Impressively, it achieved the ₹800 crore worldwide gross mark within just 11 days of its release.

“Jawan,” directed by Atlee and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, features an ensemble cast including Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Sunil Grover, Yogi Babu, and Ridhi Dogra, among others. Deepika Padukone also makes a special appearance in the film. “Jawan” was released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages, broadening its appeal to a wider audience.

Director Atlee, who has achieved immense success with “Jawan,” has his sights set on the prestigious Oscars. In a recent interview with ETimes, he expressed his desire to submit the film for consideration at the Academy Awards, acknowledging the global recognition that the Oscars offer.

Atlee said, “Of course, ‘Jawan’ should go if everything falls in place. I think every effort, everybody, every director, every technician who is working in cinema, their eyes are on the Golden Globes, Oscars, National Awards, every award. So, definitely, yeah, I would love to take ‘Jawan’ to the Oscars. Let’s see. I think Khan sir will watch and read this interview. I will also ask him over a call ‘Sir, should we take this film to the Oscars?”

“Jawan” has not only taken the box office by storm but is now setting its sights on making a mark on the global stage by aiming for the prestigious Oscars.
