Shark Tank India Season 2: Shark Namita Thapar recalls painful experience of 2 IVF failures

After hearing the pitch, shark Namita Thapar disclosed that during her second pregnancy, she had unsuccessful attempts IVF attempts because she couldn’t get pregnant.

New Delhi: Shark Tank India 2 has already been making news since it was first screened on television, occasionally due to the witty chit-chat between the sharks, and other times for sharks counseling the pitchers or pitchers forcing the sharks to portray their personal struggles. Vineeta Singh, Aman Gupta, Anupam Mittal, Peyush Bansal, Amit Jain, and Namita Thapar are among the six Sharks on the show. Namita Thapar recently opened up regarding one of her hardships during one of her previous episodes.

They had a one-of-a-kind product to show off: an IUI home kit that fascinated the judges. The kit enables childless couples to administer the test at their own residence. Before making their pitch, they discussed fertility issues, the social conventions involving it, and how people are still hesitant to discuss it. They also discussed a true story. On the show, sharks also see a product demonstration.

On the show, she revealed that she went through a normal pregnancy at the age of 28 and gave birth to her first child. She attempted to fall pregnant again after a period of three to four years but failed. “I couldn’t conceive, so I ended up turning to infertility treatments. After two IVF cycles, 25 injections, and the mental and physical pain I endured, I gave up and made peace because I already had one child. Even the taboo things like keeping your legs up and crossing your legs. I already have children, but imagine the parents who don’t.

Namita continued by claiming that a miracle happened, which resulted in her naturally conceiving. But the experience of IVF remained with her, and she really can not talk about it in public for a decade. It was only recently that she ended up choosing to talk about that now, and she gained help from those around her. She chose to follow her heart, and she wrote about her experience in her book.

The sharks praised Namita for sharing her story. Finally, Vineeta and Namita each make two separate offers. Namita is chosen by the pitchers. She proposed a deal worth Rs 20 crores for 1% equity and Rs 30 lakhs in debt at 10% equity for a valuation of Rs 20 crores.
