New Delhi: Bollywood Diva Tripti Dimri has been constantly making headlines for her intimate scenes with Ranbir Kapoor in Sandeep Reddy’s recently released crime drama Animal.
The actress, who played the character of Zoya in the film, featured in a highly sensual scene with Ranbir Kapoor and became the talk of the town amongst the fans for the same. Amidst this, the Bulbul actress has revealed how her parents reacted after learning about her nude scenes with Ranbir Kapoor in the Rashmika Mandanna starrer.

Speaking with Bollywood Hungama in a recent interview, Tripti accepted that her parents got taken aback after watching her intimate scenes and it took them a while to get over her intimate scenes. She said, ” My parents told me that they have never seen something like this in films and you have done it.’ It took them a while to get over that scene. They were sweet to me though. They were like, ‘You should not have done that but it’s fine. As parents, we will feel this,”
“I told them I was not doing anything wrong. It’s my job and as long as I am comfortable and safe, I don’t see any problem with that. I am an actor and I will be 100 percent true with the character that I play”, the 29 -year-old actress continued.

Meanwhile, ever since Animal’s release on December 1, netizens are continuously hailing Tripti as a “National crush”. Her exceptional & brave acting in the film has not just taken the actress’ acting career on an even higher pedestal but also earned her a significant amount of fan following on social media and the rapidly spiking numbers of her followers on Instagram tell the same story.
While the actress had a relatively small Instagram following of 700K before the release of Sandeep Reddy’s Animal, the same saw a significant increase after the film’s release and has already reached a figure of 3.1 million as of writing this.

Tripti’s Animal is currently wreaking havoc at the box office. In just 9 days of its theatrical run, the Ranbir starrer crime-drama has amassed over Rs 660 crore at the global box office, becoming the 5th highest-grossing Indian movie of 2023.
The actress will now make her next appearance on the big screen in Anand Tiwari’s upcoming film Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam, in which she will star alongside Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal. The film will also feature Ammy Virk, Sanya Malhotra, and Fatima Sana Shaikh, in pivotal roles.
