New Delhi: Punjabi Singer Sidhu Moose Wala’s recently released music video SYL has reportedly been taken down from YouTube.
The song based on Sutlej-Yamuna Link (SYL) was officially dropped on singer’s official YouTube channel on Thursday only, and had become a massive hit within minutes of its release, crossing the landmark of 1 million views in the first 30 minutes.
The YouTube warning read, “This content is not available on this country domain due to legal complaint from the government”.

The song has come under the radar of controversy since its very release on June 23. Many has raised concerns over hailing of pro-Khalistan outfit Babbar Khalsa militant Balwinder Singh Jattana as ‘Sikh Liberation Hero’.
The song talks about about undivided Punjab, its water dispute with Haryana, the 1984 Sikh riots, Sikh militants and prisoners, as well as the recent Nishan Sahib flag hoisting at the Red Fort during the farmer agitation.
