1. Gargi

‘Gargi’, starring Sai Pallavi, revolves around a young school teacher who sets on a journey to prove her father’s innocence with the help of a juvenile advocate who’s never even seen the interiors of a court hall. Directed by Gautham Ramachandran, the film features Kaali Venkat, R.S. Shivaji, Kavithalaya Krishnan and Aishwarya Lekshmi.

The thrilling drama is set to release on Sony Liv on August 12.

2. Malayankunju

Fahadh Faasil’s ‘Malayankunju’ revolves around Anikkuttan, who is an ill-tempered electronics technician. His daily routines are disrupted when his next-door neighbour’s newborn baby stirs up undesirable memories from his past.

Directed by Sajimon Prabhakar, the Malayam thriller stars Rajisha Vijayan, Johny Antony, Arjun Asokan along with Fahadh Faasil in the lead. The film is streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

3. Thank You

The film tells the story of a successful man who reviews the impactful moments in his life after a dramatic event happens. ‘Thank You’ is directed by Vikram K. Kumar and stars Naga Chaitanya Akkineni, Raashi Khanna and Avika Gor in the lead roles.

The Telugu film was released in theatres in July, and now it is streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

4. Cadaver

The film revolves around the life of Megan Reed, an ex-cop and a recovering alcoholic who is out of the rehabilitation centre. As she takes up the graveyard shift the situation turns upside down. Directed by Anoop Panicker, it features Amala Paul, Riythvika Panneerselvam, Munishkanth, Harish Uthaman, Athulya and Thrigun.

The mystery drama will release on August 12 on Disney+Hotstar, in Tamil and Telugu.

5. Harikathe Alla Girikathe

The film features the story of three people who came together to pursue a common goal of making it big in the movie business. ‘Harikathe Alla Girikathe’ is written and directed by Karan Ananth and Anirudh Mahesh. The Kannada film stars Rachana Inder, Honnavalli Krishna, Rishab Shetty and Anirudh Mahesh.

The comedy-drama will stream on Voot from August 12 onwards.
