New Delhi: Karissa Valencia, a Chumash Nation member from the Santa Ynez Band, is the creator of the animated preschool TV series Spirit Rangers. The series first premiered on Netflix on October 10, 2022, and it was co-produced by Laughing Wild, Superprod Studio, and Netflix Animation.
A second season was announced on January 18, 2023, and it began on May 8, 2023. The news of the series’ renewal for a third season came out in June 2023. Fans of The Spirit Rangers are getting excited since the third season is almost ready to be released on Netflix.
The Spirit Rangers are a magical trio—Kodiak, Summer, and Eddy Skycedar—who are Native American siblings. The series delves into themes of Native American culture, friendship, and environment as it follows this trio as they become Spirit Rangers to safeguard Xus National Park.
Plot
The action series follows Kodiak and the other spirit rangers as they discover the wonders and dangers of the natural world. The story revolves around the Skycedar siblings—Kodiak, Summer, and Eddy—who live in a national park in California and possess the ability to travel into a mystical spirit world. They tackle every obstacle together, showing compassion and bravery.
Their common secret of becoming an animal spirit to help protect the park is showcased in this fantasy-adventure preschool series. Kodi becomes a stingray or grizzly bear cub in the spirit world, Summer an octopus or red-tailed hawk, and Eddy an orca or turtle.
As Spirit Rangers, they safeguard their homeland and gain knowledge about themselves, their culture, and the world around them.
When and Where to Watch?
April 8, 2024, is the scheduled release date of the science fiction adventure. The online series is available on Netflix for kids and lovers of Spirit Rangers.
