Season 1
In November 1983, young Will Byers vanishes in Hawkins, Indiana, sparking a frantic search by his mother, Joyce, and his friends—Mike, Dustin, and Lucas. As they investigate, they encounter a mysterious girl named Eleven, who has escaped from a secret government lab and possesses telekinetic powers. Eleven reveals knowledge of a dark parallel dimension called the “Upside Down,” where Will is trapped, taken by a terrifying creature known as the Demogorgon. The group, with Eleven’s help, rescues Will, but the mystery of the Upside Down remains unresolved. Eleven sacrifices herself to defeat the Demogorgon, leaving Hawkins with lingering questions and a fragile sense of normalcy.
Season 2
In Season 2, set a year after the events of Season 1, Hawkins is recovering from the chaos of the Demogorgon and the Upside Down. Will Byers, rescued at the end of Season 1, struggles with disturbing visions and a growing connection to the alternate dimension. Eleven, living in hiding with Jim Hopper, uncovers her true origins while trying to stay off the radar of the government. As Will’s connection to the Upside Down deepens, the group must fight against the Mind Flayer, a dark entity seeking to invade the human world. In the finale, they sever Will’s connection to the creature, but the Mind Flayer remains a looming threat, still lurking in the Upside Down.
