Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case: Aditya Chopra records his statement

According to Mumbai Police, the statements of over 35 people have been recorded in the probe so far.

Sushant allegedly committed suicide at his Bandra residence by hanging himself in Mumbai on Sunday, the police said.

New Delhi: The statement of filmmaker Aditya Chopra, of Yash Raj Films, was recorded in connection with the investigation pertaining to actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case, Mumbai Police said on Saturday.

Chopra’s statement in the matter was recorded at Versova Police Station, which reportedly lasted for more than three hours.

According to Mumbai Police, the statements of over 35 people have been recorded in the probe so far. Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai residence last month.

After Sushant’s death, Bollywood celebrities were accused of ganging up against him to stall his promising career. It was alleged that he was unceremoniously dropped from projects. In light of these reports, Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh had said that claims of ‘professional rivalry’ will be thoroughly investigated by the police.
