Sushant Singh Rajput’s close friend Mahesh Shetty breaks his silence; check what did he post

Mahesh, who had co-starred with Sushant years ago in the daily soap “Pavitra Rishta”, had chosen to maintain silence all this while.

New Delhi: Two months after Sushant Singh Rajputs death, Mahesh Shetty, one of the closest friend of the late actor has finally broken his silence and has shared a post saying that truth about Sushant’s death should come out.

Mahesh, who had co-starred with Sushant years ago in the daily soap “Pavitra Rishta”, had chosen to maintain silence all this while. On Saturday, the actor took to his verified Instagram account to join the #globalprayers4ssr movement initiated by the late actor’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti.

Sharing a photograph of himself with folded hands, the actor wrote: “#globalprayers4ssr #bepositive #lettruthwin.

Shetty has not spoken to the media until now. His team has released a statement on his Instagram account. The post read, “As we all are deeply pained and shocked to hear about Sushant Singh Rajput’s untimely demise… So is Mahesh Shetty. He has lost a brother, a very dear friend and is still coming to terms with the shock and reality and is completely heartbroken. We, his team, request the media and all of you, on his behalf, to please give him some privacy and let him grieve for his loss.”

Mahesh has been silent on Sushant all this while, even on social media. The last time he made a post on Sushant was a day after the latter’s last film released. Sharing a throwback photo with Sushant, Mahesh had written “My hero” along with a red heart emoji.
