New Delhi: After Lalit Modi announced Sushmita Sen as his ‘better half’, there were several rumours that panned out. The actor shared a post on her Instagram handle to deliver a clear stand on the rumours spreading around. She shared a picture with her daughters Reene and Alisah and wrote a long caption to address the rumours spreading around her private life.
When Lalit Modi took on Twitter to share about his relationship with the former Miss universe, at first people took it as a marriage announcement. The businessman then made it clear that they are just dating and are not married as of now.

After that, a picture of Sushmita wearing a ring started to circulate on the internet. Her fans assumed that it is an engagement ring gifted to her by Mr Modi. In her Instagram post, Sen wrote in capital letters, “NOT MARRIED…NO RINGS…” in order to clarify the rumours. She also wrote that enough clarifications have been given and for people who do not want to be part of her happiness, the situation is none of their business.
Posting the picture with her daughters, she also wrote that she is in a happy place at the moment and is surrounded by unconditional love. She also thanked her fans for all the greetings.

In the post, she also used the term ‘Dugga Dugga’ which, as she revealed last year, is a Bengali phrase used to invite Maa Durga’s strength.
