Sweetheart! OTT Release Date: Popular Indian actor and videojockey Rio Raj recently starred in a light-hearted comedy flick titled Sweetheart!.
Helmed and written by debutant director Swineeth S. Sukumar, the Tamil rom-com premiered in the theaters on March 14th, 2025, but unfortunately failed to resonate with the cinemagoers.
With its storyline failing on multiple fronts, the flick only managed to amass a sum of Rs 1.2 crores from the Box office, despite its heavy budget of Rs 5 crores. As you have guessed already, Sweetheart! concluded its theatrical run as a major flop, and now, its makers are all set to drop the film on the digital screens. If you missed the chance to enjoy Sweetheart! on the big screens, worry not, as JioHotstar is all set to bring the film to your house this summer.
From April 11th, 2025, the light-hearted romantic comedy will start streaming online on the OTT gaint platform, allowing fans to watch it right from the comfort of their homes. However, it may be noted that a subscription to the streamer’s services will be required in order the access the film online.
Cast and Production
The star cast of Sweetheart! features Rio Raj, Gopika Ramesh, Renji Panicker, Redin Kingsley, Arunachaleswaran Pa, Tulasi, Fouziee, Suresh Chakravarthy, Aashik Gopinath, Reshmi, and Karthigeyan in pivotal roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja has backed the film under the banner of YRS Films.
