New Delhi: Susmita Sen who is known for giving spectacular performances has once again won the hearts of her fans. Her latest web series Taali, based on the story of a transgender activist Gauri Sawant is getting a great response from viewers. Taali is a biographical drama produced by Arjun Singh Baran and Kartik D. The series consists of six episodes, premiered on Jio Cinema and is getting a positive response from her fans as they are loving her courageous and powerful performance.

Taali revolves around the story of Shree Gauri Sawant’s life, her fearless transformation from Ganesh to Gauri and the discrimination she faced because of that. It also tells you her journey towards the motherhood with an daring battle to led the third gender an identification on every official document in India. With Sushmita’s powerful performance and captivating dialogue the series had hit the right chords.
While talking about the character of Shree Gauri, Sushmita said , When she was first asked for portaying such character on screen, in her mind it was instant yes , however it took almost six and half month for her to officialy come on-board.
