Taylor Swift announces The Eras Tour concert film to have 3 extra songs; to start streaming soon

Many have been waiting for its streaming debut since its theatrical premiere. However, on November 27th, the singer took to Instagram to post a video with the news for her followers.

New Delhi: This year, pop sensation Taylor Swift will celebrate her birthday by making her concert film, The Eras Tour, available for on-demand streaming.

The Eras Tour, the concert film that Taylor Swift released in October, marked Swift’s theatrical debut. Under Sam Wrench’s direction, Taylor Swift smashed box office records, earning over $250 million globally. It became the highest-grossing concert film of all time internationally, shattering the Guinness World Record.

Announcing the news, she wrote in the caption, “Hi! Well, so, basically I have a birthday coming up and I was thinking a fun way to celebrate the year we’ve had together would be to make The Eras Tour Concert Film available for you to watch at home! Very happy to be able to tell you that the extended version of the film including “Wildest Dreams,” “The Archer” and “Long Live” will be available to rent on demand in the US, Canada & additional countries to be announced soon starting on … you guessed it, December 13 🫶💋”

On the other hand, through her Instagram post, she disclosed the inclusion of three more songs in the expanded version of the film. The initial release omitted three tracks – “Long Live,” “The Archer,” and “Wildest Dreams.” However, those songs will be included in the extended edition.

Now, on December 13, which happens to be Taylor Swift’s 34th birthday, the concert film will be accessible to see. According to Swift’s official website, fans can watch the concert film on several streaming services like Apple TV, Vudu, Prime Video, Xfinity, Google Play, and YouTube.

Fans couldn’t control their delight as soon as the singer announced the news on social media.

The Eras Tour by Taylor Swift has already broken records. With almost $175 million at the domestic box office and approximately $250 million worldwide, the film has surpassed all previous concert films in North America in terms of box office earnings.
