Taylor Swift drops 4 unreleased songs ahead of ‘The Eras Tour’, netizens share emotional response

These songs include re-recordings of her ‘Eyes Open’, ‘Safe & Sound’ and ‘If This Was a Movie (Taylor’s Version)’.

New Delhi: American singer Taylor Swift released four new songs ahead of ‘The Eras Tour’ launch and her fans cannot keep calm. She dropped four unreleased songs on March 17 at midnight (9:30 am IST). These songs include re-recordings of her ‘Eyes Open’, ‘Safe & Sound’ and ‘If This Was a Movie (Taylor’s Version)’.

Along with her 2012 song in ‘The Hunger Games’, ‘Eyes Open’, ‘Safe & Sound’ featuring Joy Williams and John Paul White, and her version of ‘If This Was a Movie’, the singer-songwriter also released a never heard before song ‘All of the Girls You Loved Before’.

‘The Eras Tour’ will begin on March 17 in Glendale, Arizona, which is temporarily named Swift City in the singer’s honour.

Taylor Swift’s album ‘Red’ had a great cultural impact and ‘Safe & Sound’ is likely to replicate it again. The album was surrounded by controversies regarding the ownership issues and re-recording in 2021.

Her last album ‘Midnights’ was really well received and also went on to break several Guinness Book World Records. Songs like ‘Lavender Haze’ and ‘Anti-Hero’ once again turned into anthems for her fans and the album has made ‘The Eras Tour’ much more exciting.
