Thalapthy 67: Lokesh Kanagaraj, Trisha Krishnan fly along with crew to Kashmir for shoot

New Delhi: Vijay’s collaboration with ‘Master’ director Lokesh Kanagaraj for Thalapthy 67 was officially announced on January 30. Reportedly, the cast and crew are off to Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir for the film’s shoot. Actor Trisha Krishnan and the crew were spotted at the Srinagar airport as the pictures and videos go viral on the internet.

As the crew fly from the Chennai airport, it had a special announcement board with the film’s logo at the entrance. The team of Thalapathy 67 took a special flight and went through an exclusive counter for the security checks. Reportedly, they boarded the flight SpiceJet SG 9675 and landed at Srinagar airport at around 1 pm on January 31, the next after the announcement.

According to reports, Trisha Krishnan and Priya Anand boarded the flight along with filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj, and cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa. The producers Lalit Kumar and Jagadish and the crew also came along. Actor Sanjay Dutt, who is also a part of the film, will later join the team in Kashmir.

Lokesh shared a picture with Vijay to announce his collaboration for Thalapathy 67. The film is speculated to be a part of the Lokesh Kanagaraj Cinematic Universe which includes ‘Vikram’ and ‘Kaithi’. The two have worked together in the 2021 hit film ‘Master’.

Thalapathy 67 also stars Nivin Pauly and Prithviraj Sukumaran, while ‘Chiyaan’ Vikram is also speculated to be a part of the movie. The film is produced under the banner of Seven Screen Studio and the music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
