Thalavan OTT Release Date: Asif Ali starrer malayalam movie Thalavan is soon coming to entertain you on OTT from September 12th, 2024.
Released in the theaters on May 24, 2024, the crime thriller actioner received a welcoming reception from the movie buffs & minted a whopping Rs 25 crore from the ticket windows by the end of its BO run.
Now, months after Thalavan’s theatrical premiere, its makers have officially unveiled the movie’s OTT release date, triggering a wave of excitement amongst the fans.
When and where to watch Thalavan on OTT?
Sony LIV, which purchased Thalavan’s digital rights way before the movie’s arrival on the big screens is now set to roll out the Malayalam entertainer for the fans on its platform.
From September 12th, 2024, viewers will be able to enjoy the Biju Menon starrer on the streaming giant platform, right from the comfort of their homes. However, a subscription to Sony Liv’s premium services will be required to access the movie on the renowned OTT portal.
Plot
Helmed by Jis Joy, Thalavan circles around the lives of two police officers CI Jayashankar (Biju Menon) and SI Karthik who work together at a police station named Cheppanamthotta.
However, their ordinary lives change drastically when the body of a brutally murdered lady is found on Jayashankar’s rooftop, causing him to become a murder suspect in no time. This triggers a series of events about which the film is primarily about.

Besides Biju and Asif, Thalavan, in its cast, features actors like Shankar Ramakrishnan, Miya George, Sujith Shankar, Anusree, Dileesh Pothan, and Joji John amongst others in key roles.
The film is produced by Sijo Sebastian in association with Arun Narayan under the banners of Arun Narayan Productions and London Studios.
