Thangalaan OTT Release Date: Vikram and Parvathy Thiruvothu’s fantasy action drama Thangalaan, after a long delay, has finally landed on the digital screens.
Helmed by Pa. Ranjith, the movie is now available for watching online on Netflix which silently dropped it for its subscribers on December 9th, 2024.
Thangalaan at the Box Office
Surrounded by high hopes, Thangalaan, made on a mammoth budget of Rs 125 crores (approx) arrived on the big screens on August 15th, 2024.
However, the movie failed to live up to the expectations of its makers and received a lukewarm reception from fans & critics alike. This eventually caused the adventure thriller’s collection to drop significantly, with the movie ultimately wrapping up its theatrical run at a below-par figure of Rs 72-100 crore
Nevertheless, now with Thangalaan finally out on OTT, it will be interesting to see how it fares with the digital audiences in the days to come.

In its stellar cast, Thangalaan features actors like Vikram, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Malavika Mohanan, Pasupathy, Daniel Caltagirone, Hari Krishnan, Preeti Karan, Vettai Muthukumar, Arjun Anbudan, and Krish Hassan essaying key roles. K. E. Gnanavel Raja has bankrolled the movie under the banner of Studio Green and Neelam Productions.
