New Delhi: The third season of the culinary reality competition series Barbecue Showdown, which currently airs on Netflix, is set to premiere soon.
In September of 2020, the very first season of The American Barbecue Showdown premiered. More exciting grilling fights and culinary magic were included in the second season, which broadcast globally in May 2023. With 13.63 million hours of viewing, Season 2 remained in the top ten worldwide for a single week. July 4th is when Netflix is planning to release the third season of the program.
In the reality show, nine competitors from throughout the United States battle to make the best barbecue and take home the top prize.
Fans can anticipate continuity and even more enthralling character interactions in season three, as they will see the return of popular hosts like Buteau, Cookston, and Bludso.
About the Show
The second season concluded with a bang. The culinary fight was won by Big T, and his admirers were pleased with his triumph because of his enthusiasm, expertise, and the new flavours he brought to the table.
In Season 3, nine Pitmasters from different parts of the nation will compete in a fire playground, showing off their skills in creating creative and mouth-watering barbecue dishes at high elevations. Each competitor will have to test their culinary skills and creativity in the face of a formidable $5,000 prize pool as they vie for the chance to be named champion.

When and Where to Watch?
The whole season is set to premiere on Thursday, July 4, 2024, globally. As part of eight new episodes in the next Netflix season, the BBQ competition will be shown.

Hosts and Participants
Returning as the main host is Michelle Buteau. Kevin Bludso, who has taken over as judge, and BBQ experts Melissa Cookston and Allison Balgobin are all making a triumphant return.
On the show are nine participants: Gerald Vinnett, Jr. of Destrehan, LA; Kareem El-Ghayesh of Austin, TX; Luis Rivera of Springfield, IL; Kent Rollins of Hollis, OK; Melissa Pappas of Orlando, FL; Shaticka Robinson of Smyrna, TN; Sloan Rinaldi of Houston, TX; Staci Graves Jett of Brooksville, KY; and finally, Tung Nguyen of New Orleans, LA.
Executive producers for Barbeque Showdown include Daniel Calin, John Hesling, Simon Knight, and Tim Pastore, and the show will be produced by Maverick Television and All3Media America.
