Plot

In a bleak and tightly controlled dystopian future, humanity grapples with the consequences of dwindling resources and overpopulation. In this harsh new reality, the act of bringing a child into the world is no longer a basic human right—it is a privilege granted only to those deemed most deserving by the state. Aspiring parents must undergo a rigorous and unforgiving evaluation process, where emotional strength, psychological compatibility, and physical resilience are all put to the test.

At the heart of this haunting narrative is a devoted couple who willingly submit themselves to a seven-day ordeal—an intensive series of trials meticulously designed to assess their worthiness to raise a child. These aren’t mere bureaucratic hurdles; they are life-altering challenges that test not only their individual limits but the core of their relationship. Each day introduces a new layer of difficulty, with tasks ranging from confronting deep personal trauma to enduring physical extremes, all while under constant surveillance.

Presiding over their assessment is a cold, enigmatic official known only as the Assessor—a figure cloaked in authority and harboring a chilling secret. As the days unfold, the couple begins to unravel, not just under the strain of the trials, but under the weight of mounting doubt. What begins as a hopeful journey toward parenthood soon morphs into a psychological nightmare, forcing them to confront painful truths about each other, themselves, and the society that dictates who gets to create life.

As paranoia sets in and the line between evaluation and manipulation blurs, the couple must decide whether surviving the test is truly worth the cost—or if the system itself is a twisted illusion of control with far darker intentions lurking beneath its calculated facade.
