Storyline
The protagonist, Bok Gwi Joo, and his family are the centre of The Atypical Family. They are not-so ordinary family and they all have extraordinary powers.
Time travel is within Bok Gwi Joo’s power, but he can only return to the best moments of his life. However, he can’t change the past, and all he can do is remember the good times. Because of his despair, Bok Gwi Joo is unable to maintain his superhuman abilities.
Contemporary issues, such as bulimia, sleeplessness, and smartphone addiction, also sap his family’s abilities. Unexpectedly, Do Da Hae ends up being associated with Bok Gwi Joo and his family at some point. She goes through a transformation once she starts living with them.
Release Date and Platform
A new fantasy and supernatural romantic series from South Korea called The Atypical Family is set to premiere shortly. On May 4, 2024, the series will make its debut on JTBC and Netflix. It will air on Saturdays and Sundays at 10:30 KST and 7:00 PM IST. The drama will air for 12 episodes till June 9, 2024.

Cast and Crew
In The Atypical Family, we follow a superhuman family as they deal with a crisis after the loss of their abilities because of contemporary problems. Skilled writer Joo Hwa Mi wrote the fantasy series, while director Jo Hyun Taek (known for Snowdrop and SKY Castle) oversaw production. Kang Eun Kyung is the creator of it. Drama House Studio and Story & Pictures Media are the producers of the series.
Do Da Hae is portrayed by Unlocked fame Chun Woo Hee, while Bok Gwi Joo, a lonely and depressed time traveller, is played by Jang Ki Yong (Search: WWW and My roommate Is A Gumiho fame).
Ryu Abel, Choi Kwang Rok, Oh Man Seok, Park So Yi, Go Doo Shim, and Kim Su Hyun are among the supporting cast members.
