The Door OTT release date: Bhavana’s Tamil horror film is set to stream online on ‘This’ platform

The Door OTT Release Date: Renowned South Indian actress Karthika Menon, better known as Bhavana, made her latest appearance on the big screen with Jaiiddev’s horror thriller movie The Door.

Released in theaters on March 28th, 2025, the Tamil flick received a lukewarm reception from the critics and even failed to strike a chord with the cinemagoers. As a result, it struggled at the Box Office, despite offering a unique blend of horror and drama to the viewers. Ultimately, the Priya Venkat starrer concluded its theatrical journey as a failure and is now all set to land on the digital screens in a bid to test its luck with the OTTians.

Where to watch The Door online on OTT?

From May 16th, 2025, The Door will make its digital debut online on Simply South, offering fans an opportunity to watch it right from the comfort of their homes.

However, one may note that only the overseas audience will get to access this movie on the OTT gaint as it will not stream online in India. The same has also been announced by the platform with a post shared on social media. Taking to X (Previously Twitter) handle earlier today, it wrote, “#DOOR, streaming on Simply South from May 16 worldwide, excluding India.”

Cast and Production

Besides Bhavana and Priya Venkat, The Door also features Ganesh Venkatraman, Jayaprakash, Mime Gopi, Karthik Sasidharan, and Vetri Kiran in pivotal roles. Naveen Rajan has produced the flick under the banner of June Dreams Studios.
