Plot

The story then jumps 20 years later to 2023, where civilization has crumbled, and what remains is controlled by authoritarian quarantine zones, ruthless factions, and wandering hordes of Infected. Joel is now a hardened smuggler living in Boston, numbed by years of loss and survival. He and his partner, Tess (Anna Torv), take dangerous jobs to get by.
Season 2
The Last of Us Season 2 picks up five years after the intense and emotional conclusion of the first season, exploring the next chapter in the lives of Joel and Ellie. Season 1 primarily focused on their journey across a post-apocalyptic America.
