The Life List OTT Release: The romantic comedy-drama The Life List, starring Sofia Carson, is set to premiere on Netflix on March 28, 2025.

The filmmakers adapted The Life List from Lori Nelson Spielman’s novel of the same name. They filmed in Nyack, New York, transforming the location to depict various settings integral to Alex’s journey.

Plot

In The Life List, Sofia Carson takes on the role of Alex Rose. A determined and ambitious young woman, she faces an upheaval in her life after her beloved mother Elizabeth passes away.

Alex is a career-driven individual who has long buried her youthful dreams in favor of practicality. However, she suddenly finds herself at an emotional crossroads when she learns that her mother’s final wish was for her to revisit a forgotten part of her past.

As part of her inheritance, Alex receives a surprising challenge. She must complete a bucket list she wrote as a teenager, a list filled with youthful dreams, whimsical goals, and heartfelt desires she had long abandoned.

At first, she views this as an unnecessary and impractical task. As something that conflicts with the structured and carefully planned life she has built for herself. However, as she reluctantly embarks on this journey, she begins to rediscover pieces of herself she had lost along the way.
